Food Service Assistant

Job Description

Feedem is recruiting for a Food Service Assistant in Rosslyn to assist cooks and chefs with food production and preparation, serve food, and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and dining area.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Culinary qualification advantageous
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals, especially salads and desserts
• Place entrees, salads, desserts, and other food on the serving line
• Keep the serving line well-stocked and clean
• Store and record food leftovers
• Keep canteen tables, kitchen, and other areas clean and orderly
• Carry out any reasonable request by management
• Assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibility
