Job Description

VKB Group is seeking a Barista for Vida e Caffe at VKB Fuels in Senekal to prepare and serve quality coffee and beverages, maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, and deliver excellent customer service in line with company standards.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification
• Previous barista or hospitality experience advantageous
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, approachable, and professional
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Passion for coffee and quality service
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Provide friendly, efficient service and assist customers with beverage choices
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and front-of-house areas
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete cleaning and operational checklists
• Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
