AI Engineer

Job Description

e-Merge IT Recruitment is seeking a versatile AI Engineer responsible for leveraging data analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to drive business insights, optimize operations, and deliver innovative solutions. The role includes creating data mining architectures, statistical models, and implementing AI-powered prompt engineering strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline
• Strong data engineering skills, including Python coding and data ingestion
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph, GAIA and integration
• Experience defining acceptance criteria and managing scope for technical deliverables
• Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React)
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, pytest)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and RESTful APIs/GraphQL
• Additional responsibilities as assigned in Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to align AI outputs with organisational goals
• Design data mining models, architectures, and protocols
• Identify patterns across business functions such as supply chain and marketing
• Apply statistical methods for data-driven decision-making
• Design data pipelines, propose AI solutions, and support development cycles
• Facilitate collaboration between business, engineering, and EDE teams
• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient software and custom solutions
• Build, deploy, and scale cloud applications on AWS with focus on performance and security
• Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and evaluation
• Develop frameworks for secure, reliable, and scalable AI deployment
• Implement prompt engineering techniques for NLP and LLMs
