Absa Bank Limited, with a century of history and strong regional and international expertise, seeks a Relationship Executive to manage portfolios of Small Business key account clients. The role focuses on client origination, cross-selling, and servicing through collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring risk management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and Professional Qualifications in Business, Commerce or Management Studies
• Ability to optimise profit and economic value of Small Business client portfolios
• Experience in client origination and cross-selling
• Strong relationship management skills as the primary client contact
• Capability to lead cross-functional teams for service delivery
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance environments affecting the portfolio
• Risk management ownership for the assigned portfolio

Responsibilities

• Own primary relationship with clients for corporate and investment banking needs
• Lead service delivery by coordinating cross-functional teams including Transactional Banker, Credit Analyst, and Product & Sector teams
• Drive client acquisition, cross-sell, and coverage efforts aligned to segment CVP
• Manage risk assessment in line with Bank and client regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain high service standards
