How to Collect Sassa SRD R350 Grant at ShopRite

Collecting my SASSA R350 grant at Shoprite has become part of my monthly routine.

I know that many people feel a bit lost about the process, especially if they aren’t used to dealing with official stuff online.

That’s why I want to share my experience, from the moment I got that “application approved” SMS to when I walked out of Shoprite with the cash in hand.

It’s actually much easier than you might think, and knowing what to expect helps a lot with any nerves you might have.

Before You Go to Shoprite right away;

Check your approval status:

Visit this link , enter your ID number and your cell number then click “Check Status”.

Wait for the collection message: If you’ve been approved, you’ll receive an SMS telling you that your grant is ready and where to collect it.

Only go if you get this message.

  • Check the amount: Before leaving the counter, ensure you’ve received the full R350.
