Checking my SASSA R350 grant status used to be a bit of a hassle.

In this guide, I want to share my experience and walk you through the steps, so you can check your status and get that peace of mind.
Before You Start You'll need the following:
- A smartphone: Android or iPhone will work.
- South African ID number: The one you used to apply for the SASSA R350 grant.
- Phone number: The one you used to apply for the SASSA R350 grant.
Step-by-Step Guide To Check Your SASSA SRD R350 Status Using Moya App
1. Download the Moya App:
Android: Go to the Google Play Store, search for "Moya App", and tap "Install".
iPhone: Go to the App Store, search for "Moya App", and tap "Get".
2. Open the Moya App:
Once the download is finished, find the Moya App icon on your phone's screen and tap on it to open.
3. Find the SASSA Section:
Look for a section called "Discover" (it may have a compass icon). Tap on it.
Scroll until you find a section that says "SASSA" or "Government Services". Tap on it.
4. Select the SASSA R350 Status Check:
There will be several options. Look for the one that says "Check SRD R350 Status" or something similar. Tap it.
5. Enter Your Information:
ID Number: Carefully type in your South African ID number. Double-check it's correct!
6. Get Your Status:
Tap on the "Submit" or "Check" button.
The app will show you the status of your SASSA R350 grant application. It might say:
- Approved: This means you'll receive the grant.
- Pending: SASSA is still checking your application.
- Declined: Unfortunately, your application was not successful.
Important Notes:
The Moya App doesn't use your mobile data to check your status, so you don't have to worry about costs.
