Step 1: Finding the Website
- If you have a computer or smartphone, you can search on the internet (like Google) for "SASSA Care Dependency Grant Status".
- Important: A good website to use is called SASSA Insider. Here's how to find it:
- Open the part of your device where you go on the internet (it might be called a "web browser")
- In the bar at the very top, type in this address carefully: https://sassainsider.co.za/sassa-status-check/
Step 2: Filling In Your Information
- Find the ID Number Box: Look for a place on the website that says "ID Number".
- Carefully type in your entire South African ID Number from your ID card.
- Find the Cell Phone Box: Look for another place that says "Cell Phone Number".
- Type in the cell phone number you used when you applied for the grant.
- The 'Submit' Button: Look for a button that says "Submit". This is like a big OK button. Click on it with your finger or your computer mouse.
Step 3: Waiting and Getting Your Results
- Be Patient: The website will have to search for your information. This might take a little time.
